Abstract

For the millions of people worldwide the ecosystem approach for aquaculture promotes the rational use of the nutrients as well as sustainable growth of environment. The development of modern techniques of aquaculture like Integrated multi trophic aquaculture (IMTA) played a key role in this process. This technology not only minimizes the risk of crop failure but also utilizes the waste generated during the process for nutrition purpose, which leads to the cutting down of cost and sustainable environment growth is also observed. It has given a new hope towards the sustainable aquaculture goal to be achieved.
