About Us

Blue Spectrum is the official quarterly magazine of the School of Fisheries, Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Paralakhemundi — an initiative conceived and driven entirely by the School itself. It is dedicated to students, academicians, and scientists working across the field of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, offering them a platform to publish their work and share it with a wider scientific community.

The magazine welcomes a range of writing — popular articles,reviewed by the editorial team before publication. It brings together voices from across the discipline, from student researchers documenting their first fieldwork to established scientists sharing their findings.

Aim and Scope

Blue Spectrum aims to build a culture of scientific writing and communication within the fisheries and aquatic sciences community at CUTM and beyond. Structured, well-written articles help researchers and students develop the skills needed to publish stronger work in the future, while readers gain exposure to developments across the many branches of the discipline — from aquaculture and fisheries resource management to aquatic biotechnology, fish processing, and aquatic animal health.
